SRT Engineering is a sole proprietor LLC specializing in fish passage, stream restoration and innovative stormwater management. We are dedicated to finding cost effective solutions that are environmentally responsible. Steve Thompson, PE is the owner and principal engineer.

Steve has over 28 years of experience in civil engineering design and construction. He has experience in roadway design and hydraulic engineering. In addition, Steve also has experience in water quality science, salmon biology, stream ecology, and restoration ecology.

What sets Steve apart from the competition is that he understands the science behind the stormwater policies and how they are intended to benefit streams and water resources. As a result of his diverse background Steve is able to develop site specific designs that meet the purpose and needs of the client and are environmentally responsible.
